A unique challenge was to convert the existing space (formerly an unoccupied automotive garage) into a functional, yet visually striking public office. Rather than the typically dark and uninviting DMV office, SAA successfully captured and celebrated the space with the use of vibrant colors and an eclectic blend of textures, reminiscent of the Googie-inspired designs of the mid-20th Century.
