Working at SAA for the past 15 years has been an incredibly rewarding journey. I’ve had the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally—starting as a Job Captain, advancing to a Project Manager, and now serving as a Director. What’s made this journey so meaningful is being part of a firm that not only values design excellence but also invests deeply in the growth and development of its people. The collaborative culture at SAA encourages curiosity, innovation, and a genuine commitment to our clients’ goals. I’m continually inspired by how our work has the power to enhance experiences, strengthen communities, and create lasting impact.

Taking a moment to reflect on why SAA has been the right company for me. I joined SAA in 2008 as a direct hire out of college, and my journey since then has been full of growth, learning, and evolution. What stands out most is the strong leadership, open access to the executive team, and the company’s genuine commitment to employee development. Thanks to the continuous support, resources, and encouragement for professional growth, I now hold a Project Manager position. A highlight was visiting the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank to see the renovation we had the privilege of designing. Spending the day volunteering allowed us to see our work in action—bringing our designs to life in a way that directly supports the community.

Being apart of a resource group, it’s fulfilling to see how different teams come together seamlessly to solve complex challenges.
